Your goal is simple to say and hard to do. Gather keys that unlock deeper sections of the cave. Collect embers that keep your torch alive. Every step burns fuel, so wandering without a plan can leave you stranded in total darkness. The cave does not offer second chances once the flame dies.

The maze is not empty. A wandering spirit drifts through the tunnels, searching for you. It moves on its own path, sometimes far away, sometimes close enough that you hear it before you see it. You cannot fight it. You can only listen, hide, and slip past when the moment is right. One wrong turn and it will find you.

Bridges add another layer of danger. Some are old and crumbling, with boards that crack under your weight. Cross too fast and you might fall. Cross too slow and the spirit gains ground. Each bridge asks you to balance speed against caution, and the cave rarely rewards either extreme.
