Here, you are playing a forager with a pickaxe, who can mine various resources including emeralds, gold, silver, regular ore, and wood. When mining, your pick constantly depletes and when it's completely depleted it explodes, so you have to buy another pick. The most interesting part is that you can't mine some types of resources early on - they're buried deep below the ground, so several layers of soil have to be passed before you start finding something extremely valuable like emeralds.
